Got a new front tire, originally uploaded by Tank Mobile.
I picked up a new tire this morning at Wheelers. Actually I did not pick it up, Wheeler put it on the bike for me.
Lots of people say great things about Wheelers and they are all true. It really was a pleasure to get the new tire there. The price was very, very reasonable and he got me back on the road fast. He has a great selection of tires so if you need one he is the man to see.

Well, here I am back at the Gap!
I got home on Monday, serviced the bike, washed my clothes and headed back on Tuesday morning.
I had a little delay waiting for the rain to clear out at home so I did not arrive until about 9PM. Dave, Christy. and Tom helped me set up camp. Actually, Christy was the only one that really helped.
It got a little cold last night but I was toasty in my giant sleeping bag. I had no pillow so that was a problem, but I have two pillows for tonight. Tonight it is supposed to be even colder but I think I will be toasty again tonight.
