Here I am at the overlook at sunrise on my final day at the Gap. As always I am reluctant to leave but it is a little bit easier because all my friends from home have also returned home. I can also handle the idea of leaving much better because I know I will have a enjoyable ride home.
This has been by far the longest that I have ever remained here and I am in danger of being labeled a Damn Yankee. It just makes iy so hard to leave when you keep meeting great folks and the weather is perfect each day. There are many people who I will remember and talk about around the fire that I met in the last two weeks, but the Jersey boys and Mr. 8 minute are probably the tops.
