Yesterday I took a ride to the Kinzua Dam and rode around the Allegheny Forest. It was a really nice ride but PA really cannot compare to WV. Last weekend we took a ride up to Presque Isle. Click here for Kinzua and click here for Presque Isle.

Yesterday we went to Mid Ohio for the Vintage Motorcycle Days. I wish I could say we had fun, but it kind of sucked. We wanted to see Christian Pfieffer but he would not ride in the rain and it rained during both times he was scheduled while we were there. We wanted to see the trials riding, but the map seemed to be wrong and we could not find the area. Toward the end of the day we found the trials demo area, but by then the shows were done. They would probably been cancelled by the rain anyway. I did not get there in time to sign up for the demo rides, but even if I had most of them had been cancelled due to rain. If it was not raining is was incredibly hot and humid. Now Skidplate does not want to go see the Superbikes next weekend. I can hardly blame her. The trip looks more fun in pictures, so click here to see them.
Last weekend Skidplate and I took a ride around West Virginia. We spent two night down there. We visited Cabelas, Blackwater Falls, and many other places. It was really hot and the ride home on Sunday was just miserable. You can see some pictures here. This Sunday, July 3, we will be riding up to Presque Isle. We will be leaving the Salt Springs and 80 McDonalds at 9:00AM.
Last Saturday Skidpate and I rode down to Holmes county. Click here for pictures. It was a nice ride with some nice roads, but it just cannot top West Virginia. On Sunday we went out to Quaker City for the All Bike Showdown. As usual, this was a fun day. Click here for pictures from Quaker City.
It has been a while since I updated, so there is a lot of new stuff. On 06/06/2005 Skidplate and I took a nice ride up to Tionesta, click here for the pictures. Nobody attended the ride into the Hocking Hills, so I went on an adventure ride by myself. I combined the Hocking Hills ride and the 555 ride into one big ride. I logged an awful lot of miles, and I rode from Wheeling, WV to home in the rain, but it was a good trip. 555 was Ok, 50 was boring, but I discovered a great road in WV – Rt. 250. Click here for pictures of the adventure.
There are some changes in the upcoming ride schedule. This Saturday – 06/18/2005 – we will be heading for Holmes County. We are going to eat at an Amish buffet out there. This should be a really nice ride. We will be leaving the McDonalds at 9:00AM for this ride and if you want to see the planned route click here.
