Well, as you can see I am still sitting on the couch. I’m not really happy with the progress that is being made to put me back on a motorcycle and I voiced this opinion pretty loudly today to the people who are dragging their feet and keeping me on the couch. I really don’t want to bad mouth anyone, but lets just say the problem is with a company that uses a lizard for a mascot. These same people say it is so easy a caveman can do it. Does anyone know where I can find a caveman, because it is not going too easy for me! They faxed me a paper I had to sign, then said it was the wrong paper. They mailed me a paper to sign in its place and now they say I used the wrong form of my name on it. Now they are sending me another one to sign. Pretty soon I will be ready to start throwing the bricks.
While I have been dealing with this mountain of paperwork from the lizard people Mark has been enjoying the exceptional good weather we have been having. Check out the awesome road he found last weekend:
You can’t imagine how bad I feel that I missed this one. This is Spruce Knob in West Virginia, near the Seneca Rocks. I have been in this area so many times and came close on several occations to going to Spruce Knob but I never did it. Now I see what I missed. If I ever get back on two wheels you can bet I will make it!
Tomorrow I am getting off the couch and heading to Deals Gap for the End of Summer Bash. It is going to be a great time, but I will probably be a little bit freaked out to be there without a motorcycle. Even without the bike I still expect to have a really fun time and I will take lots of pictures to post up. Maybe since I will not have a motorcycle I will take more pictures than usual!
