We made it across the border with no problem. Right now we aew at Tony Packos to see what the big deal about this place is. The chili was delicious, but I am waiting to try the hot dogs1
We are at the duty free store stretching our legs. Soon we will attempt the border crossing. I just hate that we are entering the final leg of the journey.
Here I sit in my room watching television.
We had a busy day today. Got on the road kind of late at 11. We found a place where they race rowboats and saw a few teams practicing. We also checked out several parks and it really makes me appreciate the parks we have in the United States. I was very unimpressed with Canadas parks. I thought Idaho was the place potatos come from but let me tell you Canada grows a lot of potatos. There are also a lot of the high teck windmills. We had a gas stop today where we pu $34 woth of gas into the motorcycles! I can remember when $34 would supply my car with gas for a month.
Today was all about eating fish. The best was some pickeral we got here in Leamington this evening.
We did get some rain today. We rode through 3 bursts of rain.
Tomorrow we might take the ferry back across the lake. It would be fun but then we could not say we rode aeound lake Erie.
I think it is a good omen that our room number is 129!
Well, it looks like all the rain has gone through so we will have a cloudy, but dry ride today.
In a few minutes we will be checked out and back on the road.
