Ride With Tank

It has been a while since I updated, so there is a lot of new stuff.  On 06/06/2005 Skidplate and I took a nice ride up to Tionesta, click here for the pictures.  Nobody attended the ride into the Hocking Hills, so I went on an adventure ride by myself.  I combined the Hocking Hills ride and the 555 ride into one big ride.  I logged an awful lot of miles, and I rode from Wheeling, WV to home in the rain, but it was a good trip.  555 was Ok, 50 was boring, but I discovered a great road in WV – Rt. 250.  Click here for pictures of the adventure.

There are some changes in the upcoming ride schedule.  This Saturday – 06/18/2005 – we will be heading for Holmes County.  We are going to eat at an Amish buffet out there.  This should be a really nice ride.  We will be leaving the McDonalds at 9:00AM for this ride and if you want to see the planned route click here. 

Today was a ride up to Geneva.  We had great weather and great company.  We stopped at two Dairy Queens on this ride, so it was a great ride.  See pictures here.

Skidplate said the page would be better if I started with the most recent date at the top of the page and I think she was right, so I have changed it around.  In the Past Rides section I have added pictures of the trip to Beaver Falls and Cabelas.  I have also added the 2005 Track Log.  I am downloading the GPS track log of all the weekend trips and then putting them on the map.  This will let us see where we have been and where we need to go.  Tanks Troops has also been updated, and I have a few more that need to be added that I will do in the next few days.  The future rides section has also been updated.

Nobody showed up for the Pymatuming ride, so Tank rode alone.  Even Skidplate was no where to be seen.  The ride to Cabelas has been moved to Sunday so more guys can go.  I will still be riding Saturday, just not sure where yet.  I have a new tire mounted up and I can’t wait to get it down to WV – the bike handles so nice now with the new tire!  I have added some new events to the events section:  The Sleazy Poker Run and Rodeo, Brittany Myers Poker Run, GWRRA Dairy Queen Ride, Hoagys Heroes Iron Butt Ride, Pig Roast, Run of the Lakes, and Night of the Sacrificial Insect.
